A dear friend Richie the drummer in the Son's of Jessy James reminded me that when we played in the Hamptons in Long Island New Your that all the other bands working that summer had major stars in them like Billy Joel was in the hassles, Leslie west was in the vagrants, there was one band that went on to be Steppenwolf which was the bird watchers, the rascals, lovin spoonful, and us. not a bad summer huh?
